It is becoming common for companies to request an “authorized representative” for remote I-9 verifications. As notaries, we can be your authorized representative.

We are available to meet with you at a coffee shop or other public place to perform this service for you. We bring our own electronics for this and use a hot spot instead of Wi-Fi.

We will provide you with an email address for your prospective employer to send their link information.  We will fill out the I-9 with you when we meet — as well as verifying your identity per your potential employer’s requirements.

Cost for this service is $75 in Bellingham. Other cities are a little bit more, depending on where we are meeting.
